Announce poll date pronto: UML Chair Oli to govt

<p>CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the government to immediately announce the date for all three levels of elections. <br><br>Speaking at a programme in Bhaktapur today, chairman Oli said it is not relevant to stick to power if the government fails to announce the poll date. The UML chairman also claimed that the constitution amendment is a ploy to weaken nationality, unity and integrity. <br><br><b>Agreement if amendment bill is put on hold: Gyawali<br></b><br>CPN (UML) Secretary Pradeep Gyawali today said political agreement can be reached by putting amendment proposal on hold. <br><br>At a press conference held by Press Chautari, Myagdi in Beni, leader Gyawali said the knot of political impasse will be unraveled if the government shows commitment to put on hold the constitution amendment proposal registered at the Legislature – Parliament. <br><br>Gyawali said UML will launch a Mechi – Mahakali campaign for national and social unity if efforts are made to disintegrate the country and disrupt social harmony under the pretext of constitution's amendment. <br><br><br><br></p>
