Indian President arrives, President Bhandari receives her Counterpart

<p>Earlier today, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had received her Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee at the VVIP lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) a while ago.<br><br>The Indian President arrived&nbsp; this afternoon around 12.20 on a special flight in connection to a three-day state visit at the friendly invitation of President Bhandari.</p><p>Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Minister for Urban Development Arjun Narsingh KC, political leaders and Nepalese Army high-ranking officers were at TIA to welcome the Head-of-the-State of the neighbouring country. <br><br>On the occasion, a contingent of Nepalese Army offered a guard of honour to the Indian President. A 21-gun salute was also offered on the occasion. <br><br><br></p>
