Nepali Congress' Prabhat Lama, the common candidate from the Democratic Alliance, has become victorious in the State Assembly 'A' constituency in the elections held in the district on November 26.
According to Chief District Election Officer Punaram Khanal, Lama secured 6,976 votes to clinch the State Assembly 'A' seat. His closest competitor, CPN (UML)'s Karanyal Tamang polled 5,152 votes.
