The CPN (UML) vice chair Bamdev Gautam who is contesting the polls from Bardiya-1 to the House of Representatives, has committed to controlling the Babai River.
Speaking in an election programme organized by the left alliance, leader Gautam who is also the common candidate of the alliance, today said that a new government formed under the alliance after the elections will reach the reliefs to flood victims, provide compensation to flood eroded landowners and control the river.
On another note, he added that the left alliance was forged for political stability and economic prosperity in the country.
