<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Nepali Congress (NC), the major ruling party, has intensified the discussions for selection of the candidates to contest the second round of elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies.</span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="line-height: 1.42857; white-space: pre;"> </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>The meeting of the Central Parliamentary Committee chaired by Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba today discussed on choosing the candidates from the lists which was recommended by the NC's district chapters.</p><p><br></p><p>NC's leader Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the meeting also dwelt on holding consultations with the political parties forging electoral alliance with the NC and fielding the candidates accordingly. According to him, the candidates will be chosen soon.</p><p><br></p><p>The party has also expedited the election campaign to attract voters, forming central publicity committee chaired by Bal Krishna Khand.</p>
