FNJ general convention calendar out

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The 25th general convention Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) &nbsp;is beginning from tomorrow.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to inaugurate the two-day general convention at Kamaladi-based Nepal Academy. The theme of the convention is 'base of professional journalism: press freedom and labour rights' , FNJ central president Dr Mahendra Bista said.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Earlier,&nbsp;</p><p>According to the calendar, name list of voters was finalized today. Nomination of candidates will take place at Nepal Academy at Kamaladhi from 12 pm to 3 pm tomorrow (Sunday). Voting will be held place from 9 am to 3 pm on Monday, said Election Committee Coordinator Chiranjivi Khanal.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The General Convention will pick a new 45-member central working committee for three years. Around 1,515 representatives will participate in the voting for new leadership.</p>
