Bill on first amendment of Act on Political Parties passed with majority

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The bill relating to the first amendment of the Act on political Parties has been passed with majority by the Legislature-Parliament meeting today.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p>Home Minister Janardan Sharma presented a proposal seeking the passage of amendment bill in the third meeting of the Parliament.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Responding to the queries, Minister Sharma said all preparations were made for the second round of the local election. So, all political parties' participation in it is imperative, he added.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In the meeting, Speaker Onsari Gharti read out a letter about the certification of the bill received from the President's Office.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The parliament meeting is to meet next on July 2. &nbsp;</p>
