NC wins Mayor and Deputy Mayor posts in Panchkhal Municipality

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Mahesh Kharel of the Nepali Congress has been elected to the post of Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality in Kavre district.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>He secured 7,356 votes while his nearest rival, Rudra Baniya of CPN (UML) got 6,800 votes.</p><p><br></p><p>Similarly, Laxmi Danuwar of the NC became victorious in the post of Deputy Mayor with 7,026 votes while her closest competitor Bhakta Kumari Lama of the CPN (UML) &nbsp; bagged 6,600 votes.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
