Jaya Bahadur Chand new IGP, Singh Bahadur Shrestha IG OF APF

<p>Today's Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar has appointed Jaya Bahdaur Chand as the new Inspector General of Police.</p><p>Similarly, Singh Bahadur Shrestha has been appointed as the Inspector General of Armed Police Force.</p><p>Chand had entered into police service on April 11, 1988 as an inspector and has served as the chief of Narcotics Control Bureau.</p><p>He has also served as District Police Chief in Kathmandu and Parsa.</p><p>He had also served as the chief of Far Western Regional Office of Nepal Police and Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.<br><br></p>
