Dahal calls on all to unite against 'parochial' nationalism

CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has called on the people of mountain, hill and Terai to unite to overcome what he claimed 'dogmatic' nationalism intended to separate the hill and the Madhesh.  

Speaking at a press meet organised by Press Centre, Nepal in Janakpurdham today, the former Prime Minister stressed that people's alertness is needed to wipe out the illusions and extremist attitudes seen in the hill and Madhes.

He went on to say that efforts were on to pass the constitution amendment proposal to address the Madhes demands.

Pledging to make initiation from the party level to announce Janakpurdham a Metropolitan City as the main hub of Province 2.
