As many as 20 passengers have sustained injuries when two microbuses collided with each other on the Prithvi highway at Chhahara, Gajuri Rural Municipality in Dhading district today.
The accident happened as the microbus heading towards Chitwan from Kathmandu and another micro-bus en route to Kathmandu from Gorkha collided head-on, Police Inspector at the Ilaka Police Office, Gajuri, Barun Singh said.
The locals of Chhahara rescued the passengers after hearing them cry following the mishap, and took them to hospital.
The injured passengers are undergoing treatment at Gajuri Hospital. Three of the seriously injured passengers have been taken to the Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.
