PM Deuba, Chairman Prachanda, Deputy Prime Minister and Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Home Minister Janardan Sharma, leader Pun, Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi and Ramesh Lekhak were present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the country will have 165 constituencies as slated in the constitution.
Inaugurating the 55th AGM of Nepal Engineers' Association in the capital yesterday, PM Deuba urged all not to be swayed by the rumour of 240 constituencies.
PM Deuba said the government is committed to holding all remaining three elections within the stipulated time and that the country is bound to hold the election by coming January 21.
According to PM, engineers have played a significant role to propel development in the country. The PM also admitted that the earthquake survivors are still living under the tents and sought activism on the side of engineers to ensure proper management.
