CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stressed on the need of creating fear-free atmosphere for people to cast their votes in the second round of local level election.
During an interaction organized by Press Chautari Nepal in Kathmandu today, Chairman Oli said it is the equal responsibility of government, political parties and others to hold the election in a democratic manner. Peaceful atmosphere must be ensured for it, he added.
Moreover, Chairman Oli wondered why some ambassadors working abroad work as some party's cadres rather than engaging in expanding country's diplomatic relations.
According to him, it was positive that the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has independent candidates fighting in the election though it has not formally involved in the second round of election.
The Chairman reiterated his stand that it would not be acceptable to his party if the constitution was amended by tarnishing the nationality.
