Nepal-India transit points to be shut from June 26 for polls

The Nepal-India border in the Kailali and Kanchanpur districts will be sealed for 48 hours from June 26 during June 28 elections. 

Kailali Chief District Officer Gobinda Prasad Rijal has said that the meeting of Nepal-India border security officials held on Thursday in India's Paliya took a decision to this effect 

Kanchanpur Chief District Officer Manohar Prasad Khanal and Superintendent of Police Arjun Chanda Thakuri at Kailali District Police Office had attended the meeting from Nepal's side.
