UML's Raut wins mayor in Dudhauli Municipality in Sindhuli

CPN (UML)'s Ghana Shyam Raut has been elected the mayor in Dudhauli Municipality in the district.

 Raut secured 8,598 votes while his nearest contender CPN (Maoist Center)'s Dinesh Adhikari Danuwar got 8,223 votes. 

Likewise, for deputy mayor, UML's Bal Kumari Adhikari Danuwar claimed the post with 8,740 votes. Her closest competitor Nepali Congress's Chet Narayan Adhikari got 8,214 votes. 

NC's panel won all posts in the municipality-1, 5, 7 and 13 while UML's panel secured a win in the municipality-2, 3, 4, 8, 12 and 14.  Likewise, the Maoist Center won chairperson in ward no 6, 9, 10 and 11. 

Similarly, the Maoist Center claimed chairperson and vice chairperson in Sunkoshi rural municipality. Out of seven wards of the rural municipality, NC won chairperson in two, UML in three and the Maoist Center in two.
