CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has said the government's duty is to enforce the constitution not to amend it as it is planning to.
Speaking in a press meet at Pokhara Airport this morning, the chairman of the main opposition UML accused the government of purporting to lengthen transition giving priority to the constitution amendment issues.
Chairman Oli further said the constitution amendment that is not acceptable to the people won't be acceptable to UML party.
Only the issues concerning the people's rights should be addressed, he asserted.
The announcement of supplementary budget is expected when there is a budget crisis in the new project or undertaken project, but the government tries to bring such budget without clarifying the need, he argued.
