Nepali and Indian authorities agree on controlling cross-border crimes

Security officials of Nepal and India have agreed to remain more vigilant to stop possible cross-border crim

A joint security meeting that was held in Banbasa of India yesterday ended with the decision of taking collective measures to control the possible smuggling of goods, wildlife hide and organs, human trafficking, drug peddling and counterfeit currency notes via the Nepal-India border, according to District Police Office Kanchanpur's  Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nain Singh Karki.   

Security officials of both countries agreed to exchange information about absconding criminals and take efforts to control the cross-border crimes including the trading of illegal weapons.
