A delegation led by Former PM and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has called on PM Dahal in Singha Durbar today.
During the meeting, UML leader Oli submitted a memorandum to PM Dahal and asked him to make national welfare first priority of his visit.
The delegation included UML senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal, leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice Chairmen Bam Dev Gautam and Bhim Rawal and general secretary Ishwor Pokharel.
The memorandum suggests the PM to sign any agreement with India centering national interest while keeping intact Nepal's independency, sovereignty, geographical integrity and self-dignity.
In return, PM Dahal said suggestions and advices from concerned quarters would be of a great help for his visit and that he would abstain from signing any agreement with India that affects national independence and integrity, PM's press advisor Gobinda Acharya quoted Dahal as saying.
Dahal also said he would hold a broad consultation with former PMs and his party the CPN (Maoist Centre) two days before his departure to India, Acharya said.
