Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at latter's residence at 7 Race Course Road in New Delhi today.
During the meeting with Modi, Nidhi, who is on India visit as a special emissary of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, told that the government's main priority is to implement the constitution effectively and accommodate aspirations of all the people.
Nidhi also raised the issues with special importance that it is necessary to explore new areas of support, apart from speeding up joint ventures like Postal Road, Inter Country Railway Service and Pancheshwor Multipurpose Project, said the New Delhi-based Nepali embassy.
In response, Indian Prime Minister Modi is said to have assured that India will provide full support to the development of Nepal. He also expressed belief that the new government will be able to establish peace and stability and institutionalise democracy.
Likewise, the Indian Prime Minister also said that he is looking forward to Nepali Prime Minister Dahal's visit to India and is hopeful of the exchange of the visit of Presidents of both India and Nepal soon.
