RPP-N to stay in the opposition

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal – with a force of 25 lawmakers at the Parliament – had decided to vote against Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the candidate for the post of Prime Minister.

The meeting of the RPP-Nepal Central Committee and Parliamentary Party held at Singha Durbar issued a whip calling on all of its lawmakers to vote against UCPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, said RPP-N Chairman and Parliamentary Party leader Kamal Thapa.

He also thanked Dahal for an appeal for support and cooperation while emphasizing the decision of his party to take up the mantle of a constructive and responsible opposition.
