Nepal condemns terrorist attack in Bangladesh

Nepal has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place at a restaurant in Gulshan area of Dhaka, Bangladesh on Friday.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa sent separate messages to their Bangladeshi counterparts on Saturday, and expressed sympathy and solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal at this hour of grief, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here today.

NC President Deuba flays bombings in Iraq

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahdur Deuba has condemned the series of bombings in Iraq today wherein people were killed.

A car bomb exploded in the middle of a busy commercial area in Bagdad, killing at least 79 persons, including many children, and leaving scores injured.
In a statement he issued today, President Deuba said that the carnage has shocked and stunned the whole world.
