As the first speaker of the second meeting of the House, lawmaker of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Prem Suwal presented a proposal of curtailing expenses, criticizing government for not allocating necessary budget for the protection of important cultural heritages of the country.

Nepali Congress leader Dr Ram Sharan Mahat said that although the tourism sector of Nepal has immense possibility as compared to other sectors, it was the matter of shame of raising question by European Union regarding the safety of the air route of Nepal since long.

Dr Rajan Bhattarai of CPN (UML), however, expressed belief that goal of economic development could be achieved if the budget was effectively implemented and suggested the incumbent government to pay attention to the decrease in remittance.

MEANWHILE,

Madhes-centric political parties  boycotted today's meeting of the Legislature-Parliament, citing the government was indifferent to their demands.
