The Naya Shakti Nepal has been formally announced as a political party.
Administrating oath to party members, Coordinator of Naya Shakti, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, announced the establishment of Naya Shakti amidst a function organised at Dasharath Stadium.
Addressing the party announcement gathering, PM K P Oli claimed that the new national statute does not discriminate any caste, community and sect.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stated that the discontent with the new constitution could be addressed through talks and dialogue.
He said if there were any weakness in the constitution, it could be corrected.
Urging the disgruntled Madhesh-centric political parties to come on board, the PM said, the government is at loss for request.
He spoke of the need for one and all to be committed to usher our multilingual and geographically diverse country further in the path of development and prosperity as guided by the law.
On the occasion, PM Oli extended his best wishes to the newly formed political parties for its role in the commonweal.
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Seuba stressed of unity among all parties for the country's economic prosperity and stability.
Coordinator of the Naya Shakti Nepal Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said the Naya Shakti Nepal has stood as the alternative force for the economic prosperity of the country adding that economic development should be the central agenda of the country.
He said Naya Shakti would bring reforms and establish the fact that politics is not a dirty game.
Dr. Bhattari further said politics is not a profession or means of making money rather it is to make pure and transparent.
Leader Bhattarai proposed the idea of an independent corruption watchdog—that will investigate into the corruption allegations leveled against the leaders including himself.
Leader Bhattarai said his new Part would try its best to bring prosperity, increased investment and capital formation to Nepal.
CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara said political stability is a must for economic prosperity is the agenda of the coutnry and added that political stability is a must for achieving this goal.
Leader Mahara expressed belief that the Naya Shakti would work for economic prosperity of the country.
Various leaders of different political parties of India as well as representatives of international organizations were also present in the programme.
