Chairman of the CPN Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the national consensus will materialise with the passage of the budget.
Addressing a press meet in Pokhara today, leader Dahal argued that national consensus is required for the implementation of the constitution, resolution of the existing problems and propelling the post-earthquake reconstruction among other issues.
He stated that an understanding was also reached with the CPN (UML) for forming a national consensus government after the government's policies and programmes and the budget were passed by the parliament.
He said the gentleman's agreement is implemented through mutual understanding.
The CPN Maoist Centre chairman said that the person on whose name the national consensus is forged would lead the government.
Leader Dahal also stated that the constitution implementation os challenging and national consensus governmnet would address the Madhes movement and other pressing issues.
