Left alliance candidate wins election for Bajura State Assembly (A)

Baldev Regmi, CPN (UML)'s candidate representing the leftist alliance in Bajura-1 State Assembly (A) has won the election. He secured 9,840 votes to win the election held yesterday, according to Chief District Election Officer Pushpa Raj Thapaliya. Regmi, is the UML district committee secretary in Bajura. His nearest rival Janak Raj Giri, the Nepali Congress candidate secured 8,311 votes. Bajura, the part of Province 7, has one seat in the House of Representatives and two for the State Assemblies.
