Left alliance clinches both State Assembly seats in Myagdi

Left alliance candidates have won the State Assembly elections in the Myagdi Constituency- 1 (A and B). CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Binod KC has become victorious in the State Assembly (A) by defeating his nearest contender Nepali Congress-RPP alliance's Bhim Prasad Gauchan by 2,526 votes. KC garnered 14,704 votes while Gauchan received 12, 175 votes, according to the Chief District Election Officer. Similarly, UML candidate Naradevi Pun has been elected to the State Assembly member from constituency 'B', securing 10,868 votes. Pun, who is the common candidate of the Leftist Alliance, defeated Amlal Phagami of the Nepali Congress by 2,871 votes.
