The 'One Belt One Road' (OBOR) project initiated by the Government of China will benefit the nations which are part of it.
At a workshop organised by the Nepal-China Friendship Forum today, the participants said the OBOR, the development strategy proposed by China would benefit the project signatories in terms of development of physical infrastructure.
China's Ambassador for Nepal, Yu Hong, expressed her hope that a feasibility study regarding the Nepal-China free trade agreement will complete by this year. The economic and trade relations between the two neighbours had further expanded and there is also the promotion of cultural exchanges at the bilateral level as well.
The OBOR aims at enhancing connectivity and cooperation among countries, primarily between China and Eurasia through land as well as maritime routes is an ambitious development initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
