A total of 100 candidates are in the fray for the December 7 elections to be held to the House of Representatives and the provincial assemblies in Kaski district.
The candidates represent 19 different political parties, while some are standing as independent in the election to be held for three House of Representative seats and six provincial assembly seats.
Those in the fray are from Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-MC, Nepali Congress (BP), Deshbhakta Ganatrantrik Morcha, Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Aamul Pariwartan Masiha Party and Rastriya Janamorcha.
Also filing nominations are candidates from Federal Socialist Forum, Nepal Dalit Party, Mangol National Organisation, Unified RPP (Rastrabadi), Naya Shakti Party, Rastriya Janamukti Party, CPN (ML), Federal Democratic National Forum, Janasamajbadi Party, RPP and RPP (D), according to the Regional Election Office, Pokhara.
Likewise, four independent candidates are in the race in the election.
