All 22 passengers on board the Dailekh-bound bus were injured when the bus met with an accident at Taal Pokhari of Guransh rural municipality ward no 4 in Dailekh district last evening.
The incident occurred when the driver of the bus coming from Surkhet lost its control.
Of the injured, four were reported to be critically hurt and have been rushed to the hospital in Surkhet for treatment, according to the District Police Office, Dailekh. The passengers were travelling on a religious purpose, police added.
13 injured in bus accident
As many as 13 passengers were injured when the bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Dhab, Bandipur rural municipality-4 in Tanahun district today.
The bus was heading towards Syangja from Kathmandu at the time of the accident.
Among those injured in the accident, 64-year-old Shankar Malla of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, who had sustained serious injuries, has been taken to Manipal Teaching Hospital for further treatment after undergoing primary treatment at Laxmi Hospital in Dumre.
The rest of the injured passengers are receiving treatment at the Laxmi Hospital in Dumre, the Area Police Office, Dumre stated.
