Chinese vice premier pledges support to Ayurved sector

Visiting Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yang, has promised full support from the Chinese government to the development and promotion of Ayurved in Nepal.

During his visit to the Kirtipur-based National Ayurveda Research and Training Center today, the Chinese Vice- Premier pledged to cooperate with Nepal to carry out further research in the sector of Ayurved.

The Government of China had constructed a building for the centre at a cost of Rs 680 million in 2009 and handed it to the Nepal Government in 2011.
