Minister for Home Affairs, Janardan Sharma, took stock of the relief distribution process at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
Minister Sharma responded to the complaints of problems surfaced in supply of the daily essential commodities being sent to the flood hit areas.
There were complaints of disproportionate distribution of relief packages to Rautahat, Parsa and Saptari among other districts hit with landslides and flooding.
On the occasion, Minister Sharma instructed the bodies concerned on making the relief distribution effective, to keep the daily essential commodities on top priority list as well as the areas worst hit by flood.
He appealed for lending special focus on the fact that the distribution should not be biased in any ways and that no one in need should be left out.
